In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Schwarzenegger said that the two actors were constantly competing with each other, trying to outdo each other in every way.

“We each had to have the best body, we had to kill more people in our films and we had to have the biggest guns,” Schwarzenegger said.

The rivalry got so bad that the two actors started spreading rumors about each other and trying to get each other fired from projects.

“It got out of control,” Schwarzenegger said. “We were both so jealous of each other’s success that we lost sight of what was important.”

Eventually, the two actors realized that their rivalry was hurting both of them and decided to call it a truce.

“We sat down and talked about it and realized that we were being ridiculous,” Schwarzenegger said. “We both wanted to be successful, but we didn’t have to destroy each other in the process.”

Schwarzenegger and Stallone have since become friends and have even co-starred in a few films together.

It’s interesting to think about how two of the biggest action stars of all time could have such a bitter rivalry. It’s a reminder that even the most successful people can be insecure and jealous.

It’s also a reminder that it’s important to be supportive of your peers, even if you’re competing with them. Competition can be healthy, but it’s important to keep it in perspective.
