Attack On Titan Finale Ending Changed “A Little” Spoiler Free*


On Wednesday, Attack on Titan manga creator Hajime Isayama confirmed in a message that the anime’s final scenes will differ slightly from the manga. He asked for the storyboard thumbnails to be redrawn “a little bit.” He apologized to and thanked anime studio MAPPA for their hard work in adapting the story finale.

Attack On Titan Finale Ending Changed

In November 2018, Hajime Isayama previewed the final panel of the Attack on Titan manga in the documentary Jōnetsu Tairiku. However, the manga finale was not published until April 9, 2021.

The Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS anime finale will premiere this Saturday, November 4, at midnight JST on the NHK General channel. It will be streamed on Crunchyroll and Hulu, and will be 85 minutes long.

Hajime Isayama launched the Attack on Titan manga in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2009 and ended it in 2021. Kodansha released the 34th and final volume in June 2021. Kodansha USA published the manga in English, releasing the 34th volume in October 2021.

The first Attack on Titan anime season premiered in April 2013, followed by the second season in April 2017. The third season premiered in two parts, with the first half airing in July 2018 and the second half in April 2019.

Attack on Titan The Final Season premiered on NHK in December 2020 and aired for 16 episodes. Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the anime with English subtitles, and Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block began airing the anime in January 2021. Funimation also began streaming an English dub in the same month.

Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 premiered with episode 76 in January 2022 and aired for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the second part as it aired in Japan.

The first part of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS aired as a one-hour special on March 3. Crunchyroll streamed the anime under the title Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1. The anime is also streaming on Hulu. Toonami aired the first part on September 9. SIM returned to perform a new theme song, “Under the Tree.”
