Kung Fu Panda 4 First Trailer
So, the wait is finally over! the first official trailer for the long awaited “Kung Panda 4” Is released.
The highly anticipated fourth film is set to hit theaters next year, and star Jack Black took to Instagram yesterday (December 12) to confirm Oscar winner Viola Davis’ transformation into a new friend, Chameleon.
In the clip, the actress FaceTimes Davis and says she’ll be playing the role, with the actress saying she’s “super excited” to join the franchise as a “shapeshifter” character. Davies then turns into Awkwafina, who will also join the film in the role of Jane Corsac the dog.
Actor of Everything Everywhere All At Once Ke Huy Kwan also appears in the film as Den of Thieves leader Han.
As for the plot, Kung Fu Panda 4 will see Po (Black) created to be the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace, and must find and train a new Dragon Warrior.
However, the powerful magician Chameleon – with the power to bring back the defeated villains – will get in his way.
As well as Black, the new film also sees the return of Ian McShane as Tai Lung, Bryan Cranston as Lee Shan, James Hong as Mr. Ping and Dustin Hoffman as Mr. Shifu
Also starring Angelina Jolie as Mr. Tigress, Jackie Chan as Mr. Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mr. Mantis, David Cross as Mr. Crane and Lucy Liu as Mr. Viper.
The fourth film comes eight years after Kung Fu Panda 3. The franchise has also spawned several TV series, most recently Netflix’s The Dragon Knight, which ended this September after three seasons
Kung Fu Panda 4 is set to hit theaters on March 8, 2024.
