Spider-Man VA Yuri Lowenthal wants Deadpool to show up in Spider-Man 3

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Lowenthal said, “I love Deadpool and Spider-Man. As much as I talk about Moon Knight in this universe, and Bryan Intihar is tired of me talking about that, I’ve been hard-pitching, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if Nolan North and I got to play in that?'” North is the voice actor of Deadpool in several video games, including Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and Marvel’s Avengers.

Lowenthal continued, “And so I would love to see that. I’d love to see Deadpool and Spidey in this.”

Given the popularity of both Spider-Man and Deadpool, it’s no surprise that fans would be excited to see the two characters interact in a video game. The two characters have a long history together in the comics, and their personalities often clash in humorous ways.

A Spider-Man game featuring Deadpool could also provide an opportunity for some interesting gameplay mechanics. Deadpool is known for his fourth-wall breaking antics and his willingness to use unconventional weapons, so a game with him in it could be quite different from other Spider-Man games.

Of course, there are no guarantees that Deadpool will actually appear in a future Spider-Man game. However, Lowenthal’s enthusiasm for the idea is certainly encouraging. And if enough fans speak up, maybe Insomniac Games will take notice.
