Maika Monroe is set to reprise her role as Jay Height in the sequel to the 2014 cult horror film It Follows. Titled They Follow, the film will be written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, who also helmed the original.

Monroe’s character, Jay, was haunted by a supernatural entity after having sex with her boyfriend. The entity could take the form of anyone, and it would stop at nothing to kill Jay. The only way to survive was to pass on the curse to someone else.
Details about the plot of They Follow are being kept under wraps, but it’s safe to assume that Jay will once again be on the run from the entity. Fans of the first film can expect more of the same slow-burn dread and suspense that made it such a unique and terrifying experience.
They Follow is scheduled to begin production in 2024. There is no release date set yet, but we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
