Marvel Comics has announced a new four-part limited series titled BLACK WIDOW & HAWKEYE, launching this March from writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Paolo Villanelli. The book marks 60 years since the characters were introduced in the pages of TALES OF SUSPENSE.
Marvel Comics Releasing BLACK WIDOW & HAWKEYE Limited Series
Black Widow and Hawkeye are two of Marvel’s most iconic and beloved characters, and their relationship is one of the most enduring in comics. They’ve been through a lot together over the years, from fighting side-by-side as Avengers to dealing with the complex and often tumultuous nature of their own romantic history.
In BLACK WIDOW & HAWKEYE, Phillips and Villanelli will take these two iconic characters on a new and exciting adventure that will test their bond and their abilities like never before. The series will see Black Widow and Hawkeye investigating a mysterious case that puts them in the crosshairs of some of Marvel’s most dangerous villains.
“I’m so excited to be writing BLACK WIDOW & HAWKEYE,” Phillips said in a statement. “These are two of my favorite characters in all of comics, and I can’t wait to tell a story that explores their complex relationship and their unique skills as superheroes. BLACK WIDOW & HAWKEYE #1 will go on sale March 8, 2024.
