The hit Disney animated series Phineas and Ferb is making a comeback, with two new seasons set to premiere in 2024! Creator Dan Povenmire has revealed that the revival will take place the summer after the events of the original series, and will feature the same beloved characters and their wacky inventions.
Phineas and Ferb Revival Is Coming
“It’s basically the same show as before,” Povenmire said in a recent interview. “We’ve got a lot of the same staff.”
The revival will consist of 20 episodes each, for a total of 40 new adventures for Phineas and Ferb. Fans can expect to see all of their favorite characters return, including Candace, Isabella, Baljeet, Buford, and of course, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Perry the Platypus.
Povenmire has also hinted that the revival may feature some new characters and locations, as well as some crossovers with other Disney shows. But one thing is for sure: it’s going to be a lot of fun!

- More of Phineas and Ferb’s relationship with Candace: Phineas and Ferb’s relationship with their older sister Candace was one of the highlights of the original series. I’m interested to see how their relationship has evolved in the revival. Are they still as close as they ever were? Do they still get into as many hijinks?
- More of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s schemes: Dr. Doofenshmirtz is one of the most iconic cartoon villains of all time. He’s always coming up with new and ridiculous schemes to take over the Tri-State Area, but he always ends up failing. I can’t wait to see what new schemes he comes up with in the revival.
- More of Perry the Platypus’s secret life: Perry the Platypus is a secret agent who works for the O.W.C.A. (Organization Without a Cool Acronym) to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s schemes. I’m always interested to see what new gadgets Perry uses and what new challenges he faces in his secret life.
