We’ve been informed that Matthew played pickleball for two hours before returning home at some point in the morning, and that he then sent his assistant on an errand. We’re told that after checking in again after roughly two hours, the assistant found Matthew unresponsive and dialed 911.

It’s unclear at this time whether Matthew’s actions prior to his death had any bearing on his demise; an inquiry is currently being conducted.

The actor was discovered on Saturday at a house in the L.A. area, according to law enforcement sources. It seems he drowned there. First responders reportedly raced to the scene of a cardiac arrest call, according to our sources. The precise location of this incident on the premises is unknown.

According to sources, he was discovered in the home’s jacuzzi, and no drugs were discovered there either. Additionally, we are informed that there is no foul play.

Perry was born on August 19, 1969, in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He began his acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in guest roles on popular shows like Growing Pains and Charles in Charge. In 1994, Perry landed the role of Chandler Bing on Friends. The show quickly became a global phenomenon, and Perry became one of the biggest stars in the world.
